At 1118hrs Squad 58 was dispatched as an additional Engine to assist Limerick Fire Dept. on a working fire in the 400 block of Swamp Pike. Squad 58's crew arrived and were initially assigned to fire suppression then reassigned to the roof where they operated or approximately and hour opening up multiple layers of roof decking and extinguishing hot spots burning between layers of roofing. Squad 58's apparatus was utilized as the dump site engine and drafted from the port-a-pond deployed on the roadway for tankers to dump their water. Crews remained on scene for approximately 4 hours before being released from the scene.
